PostHeaderIcon Does anyone know if my itunes downloads will work with another mp3 player?

Namely, an XO vision 2gb cheapie? My 10 year old is getting one for Christmas and I have tons and tons of downloads on my itunes account as well as cd’s (mine and hers) added on. Will these downloads work on this mp3 player? Does it have to be an ipod? I refuse to get a 10 year old an ipod, she’s a bit too irresponsible.
Sweet…that is such good news.

PostHeaderIcon Two computers, same iTunes account- Downloads?

When I signed up for an ITunes account, it says you can share music on up to 5 computers. My sister and I have two separate computers but we both download music. I’d like to be able to listen to the music she downloads, and I thought that’s what the ’5 Computer’ rule was about. Is it possible for me to get the downloaded (purchased, on our account [we share it]) music onto my computer?

PostHeaderIcon Getting Itunes Ipod Downloads Straight to your Computer

It doesn’t matter whether you have an iPod or not, you can still listen to your favorite songs on your computer using iTunes, Apple’s software program which stores and plays all your songs and music videos. You can also get iTunes iPod downloads as well straight to your computer.

This means that you can buy songs, music videos, and now, even movies which you can then play back on your iTunes software. To begin with however, you will need to get the iTunes software for the iPod downloads, and this can be done through the Apple official website.

In the early days of the iPod the iTunes software was bundled along with the iPod itself. This meant that only people who had bought an iPod would be able to use the iTunes iPod downloads. These days however, the software is to be downloaded from the internet, and can be used by either Mac users (Apple’s computers), or Microsoft Windows PC users.

iTunes iPod downloads have gained in popularity just as much as the iPods themselves and many people are now using the iTunes iPod downloads to store and listen to their songs, instead of other playback software.

This also means that people now have access to the songs and music videos which can be bought from the iTunes site. And really, these iTunes iPod downloads are the ones which are taking off the most. People from all over the world now have access to literally millions of songs and music videos, and all for only a small reasonable fee per song or music video.

The only hitch is that you will need to have a bank account, with a credit or debit card available, and your bank account will need to be in one of the countries that has an iTunes virtual store for you to buy any iPod downloads.

You will be able to find out which countries are on this list by going to the iTunes site. From here you can see if your country is among one of the countries and if it is and you have a bank account, you can then go ahead and buy your iPod downloads.

If you have a bank account in the United Kingdom, you can get yourself an iTunes account and get as many iPod downloads as you want.

But even if you have a United Kingdom iTunes account, you can in no way, shape, form or manner, get any of the iTunes iPod downloads from the United States iTunes store, or even the Japanese iTunes store, or any one of the other iTunes store.

You are limited to getting only iPod downloads from the country where you have a bank account. And this can be very frustrating as some of the songs to be found on the United States iTunes store for instance, cannot be found in the other iTunes stores. Very frustrating, yes, but iTunes iPod downloads are still one of the best ways of getting great songs.

PostHeaderIcon how do i find out who accessed my itunes account and downloaded software?

PostHeaderIcon Can I load Mp3′s onto an iPod Nano without having an iTunes account/software?

I just recieved an iPod nano, but don’t have a pc at home, nor do I have an itunes account. I do have lots of disks with Mp3 files on them, but it seem from the instructions that I must begin an itunes account, download software, and pay fees just to put this music onto the ipod. Is there a way to use previously stored music, not music that you purchased from itunes, on an iPod? Or do you have to play by the apple rules and pay the fees?
