I’m the admin of my computer, having a Limited user account set up for another user. After looking through the docs and settings folder and recycling bin, lots of graphics and video clips have been downloaded.

Can I limit this account even more then what Windows will allow (i.e. choosing “Limited” account should allow for more settings and options to limit!!)? I don’t want this account to be able to download at all. Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

Currently, the limited account is able to download programs and install them. For example, winamp was downloaded and toolbar was installed into internet explorer.

Another user on a different account on my computer keeps on downloading software onto the computer without permission. I am running Windows XP home edition and want to know how to block any unauthorised downloads. This other user does not have administrator rights.

my computer have on 9 user accounts.I want to download limewire on my username but i don’t want the sotware or the icon to show up on other user accounts on my computer.How to download a software and not share it with other users.I don’t want them to see my downloads or search history.

For example, I’m trying to set up two different ITUNE accounts for both me and my wife. How do I download the ITUNES software for two separate accounts using windows XP? Is it done via the administrator account ( one for her and one for me). Also need to differentiate between our palm pilots.
